Riders at MANE vary widely in their ages from 4 to 80! Each student is treated individually. Realistic goals and expectations are set and the horses are carefully matched to the rider’s ability, temperament, and size.
From the start, riders at MANE are encouraged to be as resourceful and independent as possible. Students are motivated to do everything they can do for themselves. Those who are able share the responsibility of grooming and tacking their horse. Trained volunteers are available for rider safety, encouragement, and assistance but are used only when necessary.
Individuals of all abilities are encouraged to ride at MANE. Please complete the Participant Application form and email to jessica@maneweb.org so that staff may begin matching your rider with a MANE horse and potential class time.
